The Water Tower

Bridge Pavilion by Zaha Hadid
Other striking elements is the Bridge Pavilion, which connects the station to the main entrance of the fair, a bit of a work of Zaha Hadid. Sulla grande piazza di ingresso si affaccia il Centro Congressi, opera dei bravi architetti madrileni Nieto&Sobejano, e si apre la promenade principale, coperta da una tensostruttura e attraversata da una sequenza interminabile di passerelle sospese, che distribuisce la maggior parte degli spazi espositivi.
Due vedute del padiglione spagnolo
Dal punto di vista architettonico, il padiglione più interessante è certamente quello spagnolo, opera di Mangado. Una grande piastra trapezoidale è sorretta da un'autentica selva di colonne fluted brick, arranged in multiple files at variable distance.
